A Laundress/Housekeeper is required for a private home near Cirencester. This is a 5 day week role - Monday to Friday 9am-6pm. Previous private housekeeping experience preferred, it is essential the candidate is confident with handling all laundry and delicate fabrics, as well as ironing. Must have knowledge on handling all types of fabric - including designer items and hand washing. The candidate must be flexible and happy to work well in a busy household, and get on with the other team members.

Family consist of 2 adults and 2 children, with family and friend visits. 7 bedroom home to be kept to a very high standard. The family also have 3 dogs and cats, so animal lovers essential. The main duties will be keeping on top of all laundry - handwashing delicate items, dry cleaning management (sent out to relevant places and the candidate needs to be responsible for organising this), all ironing and wardrobe management. There would also be an expectation of this candidate to assist with day to day housekeeping when not busy with laundry - including: cleaning - hoovering, mopping, dusting, polishing, deep cleans, organisation of cupboards, wardrobe management, serving and clearing food, reporting breakages and maintenance issues etc. Someone with their eye on the ball, who can see what needs to be done and to do it, but must be happy to take instruction from management and the principals, and be completely flexible and happy to turn their hand to anything.
