An experienced chef is required for a private client in their home from 15th December - 15th February in Colorado, Vail. Accommodation will be provided, and return travel. The numbers will be around 4 adults, but numbers could fluctuate over Christmas up to 10-12 people and occasional extra guests for some evenings, but in general around 4 people.
The chef should be flexible and able to handle last minute changes. Meals required: Breakfast, lunch, healthy snacks and dinner. Formally plated dinner but other meals less formal, but really good healthy and nutritious food. Dining room is just off the kitchen, all quite open and the chef needs to be discreet and professional. Chef will need to shop, cook, serve and clear tables and keep kitchen organised - a car is provided for the shopping. The client will be recovering from surgery on his shoulder and would like healthy, nutritious delicious food that is well presented and it will need to be a chef with experience who is adaptable and good at producing really well presented food and handle last minute guest additions. The chef must be happy to lay and clear tables. It is an informal household, but they have high standards. Salary depends on experience but good day rate. Need someone able to commit to all of the dates.
Accommodation provided in the house - own room and bathroom First 10 days you will work every day, but over the course of the holiday the family are happy for the chef to have 1 or 1.5 days off leaving prepared food in the fridge for the clients Tidiness, organisation and excellent cooking is required. One guest does not like/cannot have spicy food, but otherwise they can eat everything but healthy cooking.
