#1455 - Permanent Junior Sous Chef/Chef de Partie - London Based Catering company - to start ASAP - Mon to Fri (with evening and weekend events when required)

An energetic, enthusiastic, reliable and passionate Chef de Partie/Junior Sous Chef is required to join a busy, modern growing South West London based catering company doing events for small bespoke parties, up to large 150-200 person events. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow with the business, and to work in a really great team. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 7/8am until 2/3pm for an average of 40 hours a week.

The chef must have previous experience in catering kitchens, be flexible and happy to muck in wherever required, and enjoy working in a team. Essential you have a passion for creating modern, seasonal food and are willing to bring new ideas to the table, but you should also be happy to follow instruction and learn from those above you.

Event work (evenings and weekends) is paid in addition to the normal Monday to Friday hours. The chef must be able to do the Monday to Friday hours in the kitchen, and have availability to work at weekends and evenings when required on events.

Salaried role with standard pension and holiday allowance. Salary of £28-30K depending on experience....(plus overtime hours to supplement you\r base income). The candidate should live in London and be able to easily commute to Wimbledon area.
